Blue Ivy Carter turns 4 years old on January 7. For those who are not familiar with this little cutie in the showbiz world, she is the daughter of pop diva Beyonce and rapper Jay-Z. If you are wondering like the rest of us, Ivy is a pretty interesting middle name. Ivy is derived from IV, the Roman numeral for the number 4. Both Beyonce and Jay-Z have an affinity for the number since they tied the knot on April 4, 2008. A tattooed IV can even be spotted on the ring fingers. Also, Beyonce released one of her albums entitled Four.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have much to celebrate with the birth of their new baby boy. The details are thin, but we do know that the baby’s middle name will be Robert. This is to honor Kim’s late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. Her father sadly passed in 2003 after a long battle with esophagel cancer.
According to reports, the new parents are keeping a low profile in a deluxe hospital maternity suite and both are very excited about the future to come. This is Kim’s second pregnancy after the arrival of North West.
Tune back in soon for more baby middle name news.
