Origin of bachelorette baby’s middle name revealed
Sometimes, it’s the middle name that prompts the choosing of a first name. Trista and Ryan Sutter, who met on the reality show The Bachelorette, revealed in interviews with Us Magazine and Celebrity Baby Blog that Alston, the name of their long-hoped-for baby son, is Ryan’s father’s middle name, and the couple was so sure they wanted Alston as the middle name that they set about looking for a first name that went well with it. They settled on Maxwell, so the little boy is named Maxwell Alston Sutter. Alston, derived from Old English, is much more common as a middle name than as a first name, according to U.S. Census records. Congratulations to the Sutters!
